What is the difference between Coaching and other forms of self-development or therapy?
Coaching is different from other forms of self- development such as therapy, counselling, mentoring, training and consulting. Unlike these other forms, coaching is led entirely by the client and facilitated by the coach. The client sets the agenda while the coach sets the structure and employs tools and a framework to help the client achieve their goals. Coaching is also future-focused while other areas such as counselling may focus more on exploring the past as part of therapeutic treatment.


 

How do I know if Coaching is for me?

Coaching is a future-focused, outcome-oriented practice. It follows a framework to meet an end goal or a set of process goals. It serves as a vehicle to take you from where you are to where you want to be – like an actual coach! In order for coaching to work, you need to be ready and committed to change. This means doing the work needed to facilitate your transformation.

I'm not sure if I'm considered to be a leader. What do you mean by "leader"?

I help women leaders. That means anyone who is tasked with leading. You could be a manager, senior leader, a supervisor, a project lead, a team leader, a coordinator, an aspiring leader, a business leader or an entrepreneur. If you're not sure, please get in touch to see how we can work together.

How many sessions will I need?

The number of sessions you need will depend on your goal or set of goals. In my 3 month programme, you will go from stuck and feeling overwhelmed to being confident and in control of your career trajectory in 7 sessions. We can discuss logistics once we have assessed your needs.

In what format are the sessions held?

Sessions will be held on Zoom. I will send you a Zoom link after your booking has been confirmed. Face to face sessions are possible, depending on your location. Please get in touch to discuss further.

What do I need to bring to the session?

To get the most out of the session, please bring something to write with so that you can record your thoughts, questions, action items and any other insights that you discover as part of your coaching journey.
